Once again, I am too hot for Amazon.

And Kobo as well!

As of this date, Amazon has banned and blocked from publication four of my books. Kobo has also blocked four. It’s amusing that they haven’t been able to agree on which items were objectionable; they’ve both chosen to ban different texts on their respective sites. So far other retailers haven’t given into the fuss but there’s no telling whether that will last. I did attempt to edit and resubmit to Amazon but they were having none of it. Corinna’s just too hot to handle.

What this means for my readers is that Smashwords is now the only site that carries all of my eBooks. If you have a craving for taboo erotica, you can find my uncensored library here: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/corinnaparr

It’s a bit of a bummer, I’ll admit. Amazon did more for me in reaching a larger audience than other sites have. But the hypocrisy, inconsistent policing of policies and willingness to ask “How high?” when sensationalist media says “Jump!”, I am hesitant to continue publishing there. Maybe I’ll change my mind as time goes on, but since this Indie erotica witch hunt seems to crop up on a yearly basis, somehow I doubt it.

Hot Stuff! Laylah Roberts publishes “Firecracker” with a Corinna Parr cover!

Let me introduce you to Laylah Roberts. Laylah Roberts is an author of domestic discipline and AB/DL stories (her blog can be found here), and she contacted me back in June about working up some cover art for a new story.

She’s since published Firecracker, which is (in my oh so humble opinion) a tasty (and toe-curling) exploration of BDSM in a committed relationship. It is definitely worth taking a look at, not just for the sex but also for the way it explores how a relationship can change completely and come out stronger for it.

If you walk out that door, Sienna, then don’t ever come back.
Two years later, Clint’s cold words still ringing in her ears, Sienna finds herself on a plane, returning to Montana.
To the husband she’d run away from.
A phone call from her distraught best friend gives Sienna the courage, and the excuse, she needs to return. She’s determined to show Clint that she’s changed—to see if there was any chance he still wants her, or whether she’s truly lost him forever.
Clint is thrilled that Sienna’s come home, even if she is returning because of his brother’s accident. He wants to prove to his estranged wife that he’s changed. That he’s no longer the cold asshole she ran away from.
Sienna and Clint quickly discover their desire for each other hasn’t waned. If anything it’s increased, especially when Clint tells Sienna the secret he’d kept throughout their marriage. That he is a dom. That he wants to show her how much she would enjoy being his submissive.
But both of them are too afraid to speak about their real issues, to push each other for commitment for fear of scaring the other one away.
Will they ever get their act together and learn to communicate or will Sienna run once more?

Contains BDSM, spanking,explicit sex, M/F.

The Zodiac Club & an Anthology Call!

The Zodiac Club is now available on Smashwords and Amazon.com! Have a click, have a read and hopefully enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it!

“If you’re reading this, then you want to know about the Zodiac Club. The dark heart of Chicago, the apotheosis of sin…Members of the Zodiac Club are sworn to secrecy, and those lucky few don’t want to be cast out of Paradise.”

Meet Gemini: rake, scoundrel, modern-day Puck and leader of a House in a secret society known as The Zodiac Club. Gemini has earned a reputation for being a trouble-maker and in this debut story, he proves to one unwary woman just how well that reputation is deserved.

With elements of dominance and submission, secret sex-themed societies, scandalous public fucking, creative punishment and revenge, The Zodiac Club is not for the faint of heart…

They wouldn’t want it any other way.

I think my personal favorite character in this one is Sagittarius, or Sage. Not a lady I’d want to offend and certainly the type of woman I’ve always daydreamed about being, but never had the gumption for. She is, in short, formidable. I almost feel sorry for Gemini, for what’s coming his way. Almost.

In other news!

The lovely Eden Connor continues her interview series with author Alessia Brio. Eden has also put out a call for submissions for a transgressive erotica anthology, which is pretty damn exciting.

You can find the site right here. Here’s what she’s looking for:

Transgressive erotica is being targeted.
Corporate entities seek to suppress legal content. To limit where your imagination may go, and which piece of plastic your reader may use in order to follow.
The ‘Great Smut Purge of 2012′, instigated by corporate morality, has caused vendors to pull legal content from their digital shelves. There indeed may be titles among them with no redeeming value, titles that cross the line between legal content and illegal content. But shelved next to those are stories of merit and value, employing the same transgressional themes.
Like Lolita. Like The Beauty Series by Anne Rice. Like many of the ‘classics which have inspired you.
Like yours.
The challenge:
Transgress.
Write a story using any transgressional theme you choose.
Get as gritty as you need to to grind down to the pure truth of human sexuality embedded in your story.
Show the critics and moralists why your sub-genre deserves amnesty.
There will be no word limit. Any length story will be considered.
But make each word count.
Multiple submissions will be considered.
Deadline for submission: May 28th, 2012.
Publisher: TBD
All authors with accepted stories will be asked to collaborate on title and cover art.

Click on the link for further details, including where to send your submission if you are interested.
